Founded in 1915, TAPPI has grown into the world’s largest professional association serving the pulp, paper, and converting industries. Lake States TAPPI donates over $10,000 annually for students at UW Stevens Point, University of Minnesota, Fox Valley Technical College and Trees for Tomorrow. The revenue from our technical meetings, golf outing, special donations and now our new sponsorship program will allow us to continue to support the students at these fine educational institutions. The Lake States Technical Association for the Pulp and Paper Industry is a chapter of National TAPPI. Lake States TAPPI sponsors are recognized by a target audience of almost 1500 Paper manufacturers, converters and affiliated suppliers in the Great Lakes Mid-West region and beyond. Lake States TAPPI plans 4 major technical meetings annually and a great golf outing in August.
